Based on the latest announcement from Norwegian Cruise Line it appears that the Norwegian Joy
will be utilized on the New York to
Bermuda cruise circuit in both 2021 and 2022. The
Norwegian Joy was originally built for the Asian Market but only after 1 season the
Norwegian Joy was refurbished to meet the demands of U.S. passengers.
At 167,750 tons and 1,094 feet long, the Norwegian Joy is a Breakaway Plus Class ship
offering many amenities including a go-cart racetrack on her upped decks. laser tag. pools, water-slides and more. Starting on April 13, 2022, the Joy will sail a 4-day
Bermuda cruise before stating her 7 day cruises to the island nation

As a side note, the investigation of this story, it was also discovered that the Norwegian Gem
will be replaced in 2022 on the Boston to Bermuda summer cruise program with the Norwegian Gem relocating to Europe for the summer of 2022. The popular Norwegian Pearl
will take over the Norwegian Gem's Boston to
Bermuda cruises starting April 8th from Bean Town (Boston) on April 8th.
