Looks Like Cruise Lines Are Banking on a November 2020 Return to Cruising from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal (Bayonne, NJ) Pictured Norwegian Cruise Lines' Norwegian Breakaway.

Cruise Lines' websites are showing cruises starting from the Port of New York in November of 2020, with Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean showing multiple ships and different itineraries.

According to the websites the first ship to return to New York will be Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Encore. The Norwegian Encore was expected to sail a full season of cruises from New York to Bermuda - but will now tentatively sail her first cruise of 2020 to Bermuda on November 1, 2020. The 7 day cruise will visit the Royal Naval Dockyard providing passengers multiple days to explore the island nation and enjoy 2 days at sea.

The next sailing from the Port of New York will embark at the Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal in Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey on November 5, 2020. Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas will sail and 11 day repositioning cruise to Galveston, Texas. The cruise will visit Labadee, Haiti; Aruba; Curacao; Grand Cayman; Galveston, Texas (where the cruise ends)

Next up is Norwegian Cruise Lines' Norwegian Breakaway, sailing from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal on November 9th, 2020. This cruise is a 13 day sailing visiting Puerto Plata, Bonaire, Curaçao, Aruba, Falmouth, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and New Orleans, Louisiana (where the cruise ends).

The Anthem of the Seas returns to Cape Liberty, Bayonne, NJ on November 13, 2020 sailing on an 8-day Florida / Bahamas Cruise. The sailing is expected to visit Port Canaveral, Florida; Coco Cay, Bahamas; Nassau, Bahamas. This sailing includes spending a day at Royal Caribbean's action packed private island Coco Cay, Bahamas.

The Norwegian Gem celebrates her return to cruising, departing from Boston, Massachusetts on November 4, 2020. The Norwegian Gem will sail a 5 days cruise to Kings Wharf Bermuda. After completing a short series of cruises from Boston, the Gem will then reposition to New York. Her first New York sailing will be a 10-day Southern Caribbean cruise from Manhattan visiting Puerto Rico; Tortola; St. Maarten; St. Thomas; Dominican Republic departing on November 20, 2020.

The ships listed above will sail subsequent voyages from the Port of New York / New Jersey in November. I called out the first currently planned sailing for the Adventure of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Encore. and Norwegian Gem. The COVID 19 situation changes daily and all proposed sailings are subject to change based on open ports, local infection rates and overall preparedness.
