Oceania Cruises is a premium cruise line, offering passengers an upscale experience on par with Axamara Cruises. The Insignia is a small, luxurious ship which originally started her career as the R1 of Renaissance Cruises. The ship has been continually upgraded is pristine condition providing passengers a high end experience.
In a dramatic re-inspiration process, Insignia is now a completely transformed ship without peer. Every surface of every suite and stateroom is entirely new. The public spaces are tastefully refreshed with a soft sea and sky color palette of fabrics, designer furnishings and custom light fixtures that exquisitely showcase the inimitable style and comfort of Oceania Cruises. From the bejeweled new chandeliers in the gracious Grand Dining Room to the beckoning Reception Hall, Insignia invites you to celebrate a rejuvenation so sweeping, you will find it positively unimaginable to resist her welcoming embrace.
Sleek and elegantly charming, Insignia’s decks are resplendent in the finest teak, custom stone and tile work, and her lounges, suites and staterooms boast luxurious, neo-classical furnishings. Insignia offers every luxury you may expect on board one of our stylish ships. She features four unique, open-seating restaurants, the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center, eight lounges and bars, a casino and 342 lavish suites and luxurious staterooms, nearly 70% of which feature private verandas. With just 684 guests to pamper, our 400 professionally trained European staff ensure you will wait for nothing.
Small details and designer choices are giving way to an even more luxurious ambiance and elevated cruise experience on board our Regatta-Class ships. Get a closer look at the enhancements to the Insignia.
The Insignia cruise experience is geared toward adults. The Insignia does not have a children's program but certain cruises are more children friendly than others. Overall there are no facilities or activities geared toward children. There are no water slides, children's pools or other children oriented activities, no camp counselor, etc. If you are traveling with children, I would choose another cruise line or I recommend to check with your travel agent and/or Oceania Cruises to see if a particular sailing is children friendly and the types of activities available.
