Located some 90 miles off the coast of Florida is the Bahamas Island chain and the popular cruise destination Nassau. Nassau's culture is a mixture of English influence combined with Caribbean flair (even though the Bahamas are not part of the Caribbean).

In Nassau you can visit the Water Tower which overlooks the island of New Providence some 216 feet above sea level. Visit the Queen's Staircase which is one of the most popular attractions in Nassau. At the Queen's staircase climb the 65 stairs (one for each year of  Queen Victoria's reign) that were carved out of the limestone by slaves in the late 18th Century. Visit the island's forts, straw market, beaches and even get in a round of golf. In you feel like trying your luck in a casino, it is a short taxi ride to the Atlantis Beach Resort or other gambling establishments. You can even take a short ferry ride to Blue Lagoon Island to swim with the dolphins or stingrays.

Its should be noted that Nassau can get crowded when multiple large ships are in port which can make moving around the island difficult.
