The Anthem of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's newest ship which debuted in April 2015. After a European summer season, the Anthem of the Seas will sail 5-12 day cruises departing from Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey. Cruises will include sailings to Bermuda; Florida and the Bahamas or the Eastern Caribbean.


The Anthem of the Seas is second of four Quantum-class ships being built at Papenburg, Germany's Meyer Werft shipyard for Royal Caribbean. The 168,666 ton ship is smaller than the Oasis class ships but are packed with  unique and new amenities. The following fast facts are presented to peak your curiosity about these new ships.

Royal Caribbean announced that it is replacing the main dining room on the Anthem of the Seas with 5 different dining venues. The 5 venues are without charge and offer open seating. (One Restaurant is dedicated to guest booking suites.) All of the Restaurants will be themed -- for example American Comfort Foods, Asian, etc. The concept is being referred to as Dynamic Dining.

Onboard the Anthem of the Seas you can choose one of two different ways to experience Dynamic Dining.

Dynamic Dining Choice gives you the freedom to pick and choose your restaurants and dining times each day and night. Our unique venues feature menus that change throughout the cruise, with guest favorites and new specialty dishes to ensure everyone at the table will find something they love.

Dynamic Dining Classic is a new option for those who prefer the traditional main dining style with the same dining time each night, with the same wait staff and dining companions throughout the cruise. Dynamic Dining Classic is available on a first come, first serve basis.

In addition to the free of charge dining options, the Anthem of the Seas will also have specialty restaurants which will be available at a supplemental fee.

In total there will be 18 different eateries available on the New 4,180 passenger Anthem of the Seas.
